best whip in your opinion? ive unlocked all the whips and im not really sure which one i would consider the "best whip" funny enough tho id say the phantom whip (green whip) is one of my favourite whips; however when there isnt any phantoms i feel like sobbing
With the Ice Whip, however, you can cover absurd amounts of distance very quickly, and I would bump it up a tier or two if you choose to run with said whip.
My favorite is the lighning whip, for the sames reasons than SnakesTGK, plus the fact it reduce the time you need to complete a run.
in its current state it offers very little reason to try new whips once you find the ones you like. In the previous versions of the game to spice up the run I could try a new whip and because the whip was cursed it adds a new Em excesso challenge. And the reward for winning with the curse was a non cursed version of the whip where you just had the unique whip benefit.
0 release is in hand should be well suited. Basically though, if you want to prove yourself down in the dungeons, dodging traps and obstacles uncovering relics, Phantom Abyss allows for it.

This randomised floating mongrel teleports from room to room, shooting lasers or dropping bombs that slow the Phantom Abyss Speedrun player down. The problem with this harassment enemy is that because you’re the only ‘real’ player in your run, it only seems to want to shoot at you rather than the many ghost players pinwheeling about you.
